WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE HEALTH?
A good diet can help build the foundation for wellness but it is not the only factor. In fact, the actual food we put in our body is secondary to the “primary food” we consume daily in our lives. Primary foods are our career, spiritual practice, relationships, and physical activity. The term “integrative” is used to identify both primary and secondary foods in treating your overall health goals. When using this approach, I will be guiding and helping your team to treat your whole self in a way that is sustainable for a healthy lifestyle and future.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
I have a holistic approach in that I encourage treating the whole person with regards to health and wellness. We are what we eat. We fuel our bodies with food every day and that “food” comes in the form of what we put inside our mouth and also our general environment. We will look at your team’s primary and secondary food to begin the healing process and get everyone on a path to total body wellness. I have been trained in and exposed to over 100 dietary theories. This knowledge is important because no two people are the same. What works for one client will not always work for another.
Research continues to support the use of lifestyle change involving exercise, spiritual practice, diet, and behavioral changes to treat conditions such as chronic stress, weight loss, arthritis and many other conditions. I will guide your team to examine all areas in their lives where nutrition and overall wellness is concerned.
HOW DO YOU ASSESS MY NEEDS?
Let’s talk! I will assess your team’s needs in an initial consultation via phone, Zoom or in person. We will agree upon the format and length needed to accomplish your company’s goals.
